my client are a regional civil engineering business. they are looking to onboard a health and safety manager to help oversee the delivery of a new contract in north wales. my client operate across the transport, renewable, coastal and infrastructure sectors.

h&s manager responsibilities:

  * ensure the project complies with all relevant health & safety legislation.

  * maintain up-to-date knowledge of regulatory changes and industry standards.

  * prepare and manage site h&s documentation: safety plans, rams (risk assessments & method statements), permit-to-work systems.

  * conduct regular site inspections and audits to identify hazards.

  * review and approve contractor risk assessments and method statements.

  * coordinate h&s training for workers (induction, toolbox talks, task-specific competency).
