Key Responsibilities:

Plan, coordinate, and execute commissioning activities for water treatment plants, pumping stations, and distribution networks.

Conduct site inspections, system testing, and performance evaluations to ensure all components meet design specifications and safety standards.

Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues that arise during the commissioning process.

Develop and implement commissioning plans, risk assessments, and method statements.

Work closely with project engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure seamless integration of systems.

Prepare detailed reports, documentation, and handover procedures upon project completion.

HV Plant Engineer (can be based in Glasgow or Birmingham but minimum 2-3 days in office)

Acting in a qualified engineer capacity within the (power) Transmission & Distribution Global Practice, to produce design engineering deliverables for client’s substation (physical/primary plant) engineering projects. This includes (but is not limited to):

Leading on project technical solution development, unaided and when appropriate; participating in multi-disciplinary teams to produce specific sub-packages of detailed engineering deliverables; supporting the Substations Section Manager in growing and enhancing the Substations Section engineering capability in the UK business; and providing guidance and mentorship to less experienced engineers within the engineering team, particularly those in the Substations Section.
